The Kingsford Community School is a vibrant 11‑16 school with a roll of 1500 students and has excellent facilities in all subject areas. The school is committed to providing high‑quality inclusive education for students, of whom over sixty percent are multi‑lingual. The school has achieved a range of nationally accredited awards and was rated Outstanding in Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, and Leadership and Management during the school's last Ofsted inspection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Play a major role, under the overall direction of the Head Teacher, in:
    • Formulating the aims and objectives of the school.
    • Establishing and implementing policies to achieve these aims.
    • Managing staff and resources to secure high‑quality provision.
    • Monitoring and evaluating progress towards school priorities.
  • Undertake professional duties delegated by the Head Teacher.
  • Undertake the professional duties of the Head Teacher in their absence.
  • Support the Head Teacher with strategic planning, school development and day‑to‑day organisation.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the curriculum, student achievement, staff development, and resource management.
  • Promote and model the school's vision, values, and high expectations.
