Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design: Collaborate closely with clients to thoroughly understand their business needs and translate these into effective and innovative SAP BTP solutions within the RISE framework. This includes developing comprehensive solution architectures, considering scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Technical Expertise: Possess deep technical proficiency in architecting SAP side-by-side extensions (extensibility suite) on BTP, enabling clients to implement a clean-core methodology during their S/4HANA transformation journeys. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the SAP BTP service portfolio, including data management, analytics, integration, and process automation capabilities.
• Integration & Extensibility: Seamlessly integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems, ensuring efficient end-to-end data flow and process orchestration. Lead the design and implementation of robust integration strategies, leveraging appropriate technologies and APIs.
• Security & Compliance: Champion security best practices throughout the entire solution lifecycle. Ensure that all SAP BTP environments are designed and implemented with robust security measures in place, adhering to relevant compliance standards and regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Enterprise Architecture and SAP Solution Architects, to align SAP BTP strategies with overall business objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the ongoing operational aspects of the BTP platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability. Proactively identify and address potential issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to SAP BTP.
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead or participate in full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment, testing, and ongoing support. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Extensive SAP BTP Expertise: Proven track record of designing, implementing, and deploying complex SAP BTP solutions, with a strong emphasis on SAP S/4HANA RISE programs. Experience across multiple BTP services is essential.
• Deep Technical Proficiency: In-depth understanding of core SAP BTP services, including but not limited to: Integration Suite, Kyma Runtime, Cloud Foundry, various data services (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud), and related technologies.
• Side-by-Side Extension Expertise: Proven ability to architect and implement robust side-by-side extensions using the SAP extensibility suite, adhering to clean-core principles.
• Integration & API Management: Strong understanding of various integration patterns and technologies, including APIs (REST, OData), middleware, and message queuing systems. Experience with API management platforms is a plus.
• Agile & Project Management: Experience working within Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and proven ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
• Exceptional Communication & Client Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Cloud Architecture Principles: Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, including security, scalability, and high availability. Experience with cloud deployment and management tools is beneficial.
• Data Modelling & Database Design: Experience designing and implementing data models within SAP HANA or other relevant database systems.
• Security Best Practices: Strong understanding of security best practices within the SAP BTP environment, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Desired Certifications: Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BTP, SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA Cloud) are highly desirable.
