My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Planning Director to join our team in Reading. This key leadership role will involve overseeing complex planning projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of urban planning projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
  • Provide strategic guidance and input on planning applications, policy development, and project design.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental consultants.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior planners and staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
