A dynamic property consultancy based in London is searching for an Associate Building Surveyor to lead a small, high-performing team. This role offers a unique short-term path to Directorship, allowing you to shape your work and contribute to the strategic growth of the company. Candidates should be MRICS qualified, possess team leadership experience, and be eager for long-term development. This is not a steady role but a chance to significantly impact commercial and residential projects.
London | £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Equity Upside
This is one of those rare roles where the growth plan is already in place—you just need to take the reins.
I’m working with a dynamic, independently-owned property consultancy with a proper track record of developing leaders internally. They’re looking for an Associate Building Surveyor to head up a small but high-performing team covering both commercial and residential portfolios. Core mix of project and professional duties, with a lot of autonomy to shape how you deliver.
You’ll be mentoring Surveyors (a couple of whom are on their APC journey), overseeing delivery, and getting stuck into a broad workload across private clients, developers, and investors. The culture is sharp, agile, and growth-focused—not somewhere you’ll feel boxed in.
There’s a clear, short-term route to Directorship—no waiting games, no hierarchy to climb. You’ll be part of the strategic growth plan from day one, with a seat at the table and a voice in how the business scales.
Drop me a message if you’d like the full brief or want to talk it through off the record.
