Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Islington Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for an Assistive Technology Business Manager. This role will be in N1 1XR.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and address Assistive Technology Team behaviour which is negatively impacting upon the services capacity and/or quality.
  • Ensure all staff fully support the Out of Hours telephone service and meet the needs of stakeholders and the diverse local community, including ensuring performance targets are met.
  • Control a secure key holding system for service users and communal keys, ensuring the issue and return of such keys are recorded and that all keys are regularly audited.
  • Ensure access to all restricted areas, financial records and documents is secure and controls and checks in place are completed or carried out in line with the current process.
  • Conduct regular Team Meetings ensuring wider corporate, organisation and divisional messages are cascaded accurately and escape issues raised by the Team through the appropriate channels.
  • Ensure 1-2-1's are regularly conducted, documented and contain constructive feedback on performance against objectives and ways of working.
  • Identify the training or coaching needs of teams or individuals to improve performance and/or quality.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Management Experience and commitment to delivering high quality customer service in an Assistive Technology/Telecare work environment.
  • Experience of business process reengineering and process, strategy and policy development.
