Assistant Technical Officer (ATO)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) to join our busy and friendly Pharmacy team at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in pharmacy, complementary care, and retail services to support the day‑to‑day running of our outpatient and retail pharmacy at RLHIM, the largest public‑sector provider of integrated medicine in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Support pharmacists with the day‑to‑day running of the dispensary and the retail pharmacy.
  • Manage retail stock, process orders and deliveries, and handle invoices.
  • Keep accurate records and ensure daily posting of prescriptions.
  • Assist with medicine handling and dispensing when required.
  • Maintain a clean and well‑organised dispensary.
  • Provide friendly counter service to patients and the public.
  • Demonstrate strong computer and IT skills; ongoing learning is expected.
Qualifications
