A local authority in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager for Adult Safeguarding. This role includes providing leadership and managing a dedicated team that focuses on high-quality, person-centered social work. As a Social Worker registered with significant experience, you will lead safeguarding efforts, champion best practices, and work collaboratively with health and social care partners. This position offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Salary - £52,413 to £56,730 (Grade 8)
Location – Hybrid working and various locations in the city
2 x Permanent 37hrs per week

All council roles are allocated to either a fixed, field or flexible work style. Some roles are agile which enable and empower employees to maximise their performance and productivity, whilst maintaining a healthy work life balance. Roles with a fixed work style work in a fixed permanent council location. Roles with a field work style are usually allocated where employees are required to be out working in the community with a minimum requirement for ‘touch down’ space at any council location. Roles with a flexible work style have a flexible base location to meet the needs of the business and employees can work from a mixture of home or any council office, partner/client, or external location, as required to meet service requirements.
