Assistant Tax Accountant - Craigavon

The Company

Our client is a multinational company based in the Craigavon area with multiple sites across Europe and the Americas. They produce a range of high-quality food products for their extensive global customer base. The company is recruiting a newly created Assistant Tax Accountant for their Craigavon finance function.

The Role

As the successful Assistant Tax Accountant you will report directly to the Direct Tax Manager:

• Assist with periodic tax & financial reports
• Support monthly, quarterly & annual reporting cycles
• Balance sheet reconciliations & tax postings
• Assist with VAT & Intrastat reconciliations
• Other duties as outlined in the full job description

The Person

The successful Assistant Tax Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified, Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Open to tax or general accountancy experience
• Open industry or accountancy practice background
• Strong IT skills
