Role Overview:

Due to our continued growth we have a new exciting job opportunity for an enthusiastic Soft Services Manager, to join our award winning team at one of our prestige retail destinations.

The purpose of this role is to assist in taking the responsibility for the management of soft services , predominantly Cleaning and Security. You will work closely with the on-site management team and you will be supported by the Andron leadership. The aim of the role is to support and manage the on-site teams to provide a high standard of service delivery and to ensure that the visitors have an enjoyable experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the soft services (Cleaning and Security) management of a prestige retail site which forms part of a key account.
  • Share best practice on site
  • Leading, coaching, developing and mentoring the onsite team
  • Successful delivery of all client and contractor KPI and SLA targets
  • Lead and drive performance improvements
  • Manage supply chain and sub-contractors
  • Management of all associated site budgets
  • Manage employee rosters to ensure site covered
  • Effective management of the site cleaning and Security provision
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
  • Regular reporting and soft services update meetings
  • Site Soft Services contract reviews
  • Customer interface and challenge performance
  • Responsible for own administration
  • Perform quality audits and inspections
  • Train employee’s
  • Recruit new staff where required and motivate current team members.
  • Managing absence and holiday cover
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements

Person Specification:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
  • Excellent organizational and influencing skills
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the same or similar role
  • Minimum 1 years’ management experience
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety (IOSH) (Training can be provided))
  • Experience of change management
  • Excellent IT literacy skills on Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the facilities management industry (Cleaning or Security)
  • Must be able to work on own initiative with a proactive and flexible attitude
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • SIA license would be beneficial, although training can be provided by the employer.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • You will receive 10 days’ paid leave per year in order to undertake Reservists or CFAV training

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Hours:40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 days.
