The Role

We are seeking a reliable, energetic and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join a dedicated school team based in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and well-maintained school site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Caretaking duties and general site maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance
  • General and emergency cleaning as required
  • Emergency repairs and portering duties
  • Liaising with contractors and site users
  • Key holder responsibilities, including opening and locking up the site

  • An organised, friendly and dependable team player
  • Someone willing to work hard and use initiative
  • A practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Working Pattern

The Assistant Site Manager role is based in Milton Keynes and ideally offers working hours of Monday to Friday, 1:00pm – 6:00pm. Flexibility is required, with a willingness to cover colleagues during busy periods, annual leave or absence.
