Overview

The Opportunity

We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to work under a Senior Site Manager and deliver a brand new 94 unit traditional build housing scheme in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire consisting of a mix of low rise apartment blocks, and 2 to 5 bedroom detached and semi-detached houses. You will be taking the project from groundworks with Groundworkers PC on site through to pushing to win an NHBC Pride in the Job Award in 2025 with an Assistant Site Manager, Trainee Site Manager, 2x Labourers, 2x Gateman and A Forklift Driver on site.

What they are looking for

The candidate will need be an experienced No.1 with a background in delivering new build residential schemes managing volume housing schemes with PLC housebuilders or Tier 1 main contractors; be able to manage programmes & budgets, and drive the site through to an exceptional quality finish, managing subcontractors & liaising with internal and external bodies whilst ensuring health & safety is kept to the highest standard.
