Overview

We're looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our flagship HMP Glasgow project

Location: On site - HMP Glasgow, Royston

Hours: 45 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and directing subcontractor partners to deliver various work packages safely and to schedule
  • Ensuring quality standards are maintained through effective supervision and regular inspections
  • Coordinating site logistics and maintaining health and safety compliance
  • Contributing to problem-solving and finding practical solutions to emerging challenges
  • Creating and maintaining accurate site documentation and reports
What are we looking for? / Qualifications
  • You have experience in a similar role within main contracting and enjoy working in a team environment
  • You possess excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
  • You have a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ) or technical trade background
  • You hold an SMSTS 5 Day Certificate, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification
  • You have a genuine commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
