Overview

Sense is recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager to work 7.5 hours per week at our shop in Sheldon on a permanent basis. Lead and inspire an enthusiastic team, drive delivery of standards, operational and customer service excellence, and maximise income for the charity.

Responsibilities
  • Build, train and inspire a great team of volunteers
  • Deliver superb shop standards, offer and customer engagement
  • Drive stock generation and community engagement
  • Support the shop in achieving income and brand awareness for the charity
Key skills and experience
  • Self-motivated, creative, strong communicator with commitment to working in charity retail
  • Experience of inspiring a team to provide excellent customer service
  • Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for customers, staff and volunteers
  • Experience of working in a retail environment or in a team leader position
  • Willingness to work Bank Holidays and weekends as required; flexibility to work across 7 days is desirable
