A specialist Engineering contractor in England is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their small commercial team. The role involves assisting in subcontract agreements, managing accounts, and working closely with Project Managers. The position offers a hybrid work model requiring travel to the head office in Skipton 2-3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness and preferably a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management preferred but not essential.
• Strong commercial awareness.
• Previous construction, utilities, civil engineering backgrounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of Subcontract and Supply Agreements.
• Management of Subcontract accounts and claims.
• Preparation and submission of Payment Applications.
