Overview

Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Civil/Progression) – Gloucester, 5-day weeks.

£40,000 to £50,000 + Life Insurance + Benefits Package + Day Trips + Progression.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a range of experienced senior surveyors assisting with financial and contractual management of civil engineering projects from start to finish.
• Assist with the drafting of financial estimates and documents including the preparation of evaluations, reports and forecasts.
• Attend site meetings while also meeting clients and contractors to manage projects and ensure budgets are maintained.
• Assess variations and claims towards the final accounts.
• Support on financial estimations, drafting documents and site travel as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Preferably experience in Civil or Construction.
• Strong familiarity with construction contracts and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving license.
