Overview

Assistant Quantity Surveyor position in London. Salary £40k–£50k.

About the client: Our client was formed just over 10 years ago within RC Frame/Groundworks as well as structural and basement alterations. They have a current turnover of circa £10m and generally work on schemes ranging from £2m–£5m. They are growing and envisage to double turnover in the near future and take on schemes up to £10m. They are based in North London and cover projects across London and the southeast.

About the Role

They are now seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is degree qualified and has at least 1 year RC Frame or Groundworks experience with a subcontractor. This role will have an even split between head office in NW London and projects across London. You will be assisting the Commercial Manager where your duties will include:

• Take off & schedule from construction drawings
• Assistance/Preparation of valuations
• Valuing Site Instruction & Dayworks
• Contract Administration
• Progressing onto running your own smaller jobs.
