Job summary

An environmental consultancy in Gloucester is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the financial delivery of projects. You will work alongside a senior Quantity Surveyor, managing project costs and preparing tenders. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in Civil Engineering, and must understand JCT and NEC contracts. My client is an award-winning Environmental Consultancy involved in a range of services from site investigations through to remediation, ecological works, and waste treatment. They have a great client-base working with a diverse range of industry leading clients including contractors, developers, local authorities and government bodies.

Role

They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business who will help in the successful financial delivery of projects. In the role you will be working alongside a senior Quantity Surveyor and have responsibility for project cost management and reporting through to final account. You will work closely with their supply chain, prepare and review tenders ensuring understanding of client requirements for effective value engineering.
