Job summary

A leading construction firm in Northern Ireland is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimations, handle dispute resolutions, and manage payments for subcontractors. The ideal candidate will hold a Higher Diploma in QS, possess at least one year of relevant experience in main contractor and civil projects, and have strong written communication skills in English and Chinese. This position offers an attractive remuneration package proportional to experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience as QS in Main Contractor and Civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimation, certifying payment and variation and final account settlement.
• Assist in dispute resolution matters.
• Handle sub-contractors’ payments and variation orders.
• Document control, system entry, reporting.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills

Contract administration in QS

Good command of written English

Good command of written Chinese

Education
