Techwaka is seeking two Assistant Psychologists to join Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. This role focuses on facilitating psychological interventions and supporting assessments in Acute Care settings. We are recruiting two Assistant Psychologists to work within a new psychological service provision within theTrafford Acute Care wards and PICU for Adults of Working Age (AoWA).
The primary focus is to facilitate the running of psychologically informed groups and 1:1 psychological interventions on the wards and PICU under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist and with the operational support of Acute Care management.
The post holder will assist with a wide range of duties – assessment, intervention and evaluation. Duties may include the development of psychologically informed resources. The post holder will also be expected to assist clinicians in the preparation, delivery and evaluation of a variety of clinical, teaching and research tasks. The post holder will act under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist and will receive regular supervision.
