A dedicated mental health service provider in Manchester is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support clinical services focused on children and young people. The role includes conducting psychological assessments, providing training, and working closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve care outcomes. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and experience with youth is essential. This position offers competitive salaries and opportunities for professional development.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to work within our Assistant Psychologist team alongside our dedicated Clinical Team at bMindful Psychology. This role shall be operating in Greater Manchester and the North West region. A Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Job Summary
To contribute to the delivery of clinical services across a range of clients and settings. The role is primarily responsible for the initial assessment of young people within looked after children’s services, including the administration, scoring and writing up of psychological assessments. These duties will also be implemented across other client groups. Further to this, the role comprises the development and delivery of training sessions relevant to the needs of a particular service, and contribution to the online content produced by bMindful Psychology.
