Job summary

A major UK infrastructure provider is seeking an Assistant Projects Town Planner to support essential planning, highways, and environmental consents. In this role, you'll work closely with authorities and stakeholders, helping to shape strategies for significant network projects. Qualifications

  • Support the delivery of planning, highways and environmental consents
  • Work with planning authorities, stakeholders and legal teams
  • Help shape consents strategies for major network infrastructure projects
  • Build strong relationships with key external partners
  • Represent Consents at meetings and contribute to an engaged team culture
  • Follow a structured 2-year internal training plan
    GCSEs (Maths, English, Science) + A-levels / Level 4 (or willingness to achieve)
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High safety awareness and a proactive, team-focused approach
  • Desire to grow your expertise in planning and utilities consenting
  • Bonus points (training provided): Experience in utilities, town planning, project management, or knowledge of consenting legislation.
