We are supporting a leading renewables developer in expanding their construction team with a new Assistant Project Manager role. This position will be pivotal in delivering multiple utility-scale solar projects across the UK, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for any junior project managers with renewables experience, who want to grow their career at one of the UK's leading solar construction teams

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of utility-scale solar projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams, as well as external contractors and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on all sites.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in renewable energy (solar or battery storage preferred).
  • Engineering background – civil, mechanical, or electrical.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work between the Glasgow office and project sites across the UK.
