You\'ll use your analytical expertise to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that influence the direction of our pricing strategy. You\'ll have the creative freedom to innovate, helping shape the future of pricing through projects like our Electronic Shelf Edge Label initiative, where you\'ll test and implement pioneering pricing models.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with buyers to manage cost movements, aligning prices with business goals and ensuring competitive positioning across categories.
  • Create pricing scenarios and review the financial impact of proposed price changes.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews with buying teams to assess pricing strategies and recommend adjustments to stay competitive.
  • Manage the lifecycle of pricing changes, from modelling impacts to ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
  • Be a key part of our electronic shelf edge label project, analysing how the technology can be used for pricing strategies, improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Track competitor pricing activity, providing insights and recommendations to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Handle customer pricing complaints quickly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Manager on strategic projects beyond business-as-usual processes.
  • Experience in running reports and pricing-change models; using data to make informed decisions.
  • Experience in pricing or finance roles where you understand the impact of price adjustments on profitability and market positioning.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and influence buying decisions through compelling insights.
  • Manage multiple pricing amendments, ensuring all reporting and decision-making is accurate.
Benefits

  • Annual bonus (based on personal and business performance).
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays.
  • Pension with up to 10% employer contributions.
