If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Merchandising team as a Assistant Merchandiser in the Home category!, As an Assistant Merchandiser, you'll play a pivotal role in securing the right quantities and assortment of products in each store, at the perfect price point, all to meet our sales and profit targets. Collaborating closely with our Merchandiser and Buying teams, your contributions will encompass setting and managing strategies, streamlining planning and trading, and identifying key trading opportunities that align with our long-term objectives. Your responsibilities will extend to the meticulous management of our systems, particularly the WSSI's. You'll be integral in setting up, maintaining, and regularly updating sales, stock, intakes, and markdowns within these systems. Your analytical prowess will shine through as you continually review data, providing essential recommendations to the Merchandiser and Buying teams, contributing significantly to our strategic decision-making process. Moreover, your adeptness in planning and executing re-orders for continuity ranges will be essential in meeting our sales forecasts and stock targets. As part of the team, you'll actively support the Merchandiser in optimising Open to Buy (OTB) planning, ensuring maximised full-price sell-through and reduced markdowns to enhance stock turnover. Through detailed monitoring of departmental performance metrics, including sales, stock levels, profitability, and promotional activity, you'll provide crucial insights and historical analyses to guide future strategies and enhance our decision-making processes.
