Job description
Overview

You are probably an existing Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor with a background in restaurants, bars, caf or coffee shops. You will have experience of working in a bar environment with serving freshly made food and drinks preparation. A natural talent and passion for hospitality and an amazing people manager with a flair for talent spotting. Extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles. Good literacy skills alongside excellent attention to detail to support reporting on KPIs. Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust. Self-motivator working at pace with limited supervision whilst adhering to pressure and timescales. Strong knowledge of best practice in the following areas: sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR and NPS.

Responsibilities
  • Support the General Manager to maintain high standards across the team and ensure customer satisfaction in the Lounge.
  • Deliver 14 great shifts to ensure every customer leaves happy.
  • Support day-to-day operations of the Lounge, including rotas, team engagement and gathering customer feedback.
  • Drive sales, team retention, training, customer service and maintain high standards. Adapt your approach to fit the Lounge and local community.
  • Work to achieve privacy, quality and service targets under pressure and within timescales.
Qualifications
  • Experience as Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor in hospitality settings (restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops).
  • Experience working in a bar environment with serving food and drinks preparation.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to report on KPIs; good literacy skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work at pace with limited supervision and under pressure.
