Job summary

A leading agricultural firm in the United Kingdom is looking for an accountant to handle financial transactions, ensure compliance with VAT and tax laws, and maintain all necessary financial records. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in Mushok software and relevant tax legislation. This position involves regular coordination with the finance department and ensuring all financial documentation aligns with company policies.

Qualifications

• VAST knowledge on Mushok 4.3.
• Overall knowledge about Income Tax Act 2023 and Value Added Tax & Supplementary Act 2012.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all kinds of vouchers, check daily transactions & posting in Tally software.
• Ensure proper compliance with VAT & Tax.
• Maintain all VAT records and registrar as per VAT law.
• Ensure original tax invoices from suppliers are received and tax deductions on service payments are calculated correctly.
• Verify expenditure documents to ensure alignment with Standard Operating Procedures and transaction accuracy.
• Review invoices, expenses, and claims to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and payment schedules.
• Coordination with cash department and visit different banks for banking activities.
• Any other works assigned by management.
