Role

As an Assistant Manager, you are on hand to resolve issues and identify fresh ways of doing things. You are loyal and passionate about your customers and your team. Partnering with your manager provides opportunities to grow within the company. This role supports the Store Manager in managing the store's operations, driving sales alongside relevant KPIs, and leading a cohesive team of motivated employees to deliver memorable experiences for all customers.

Responsibilities
  • Be a role model - Motivate and engage your team to bring to life brand values daily, promoting an inclusive and positive working atmosphere that celebrates success.
  • Deliver outstanding service to all customers, modeling behaviours for the team.
  • Assist in driving sales, commerciality, and maintenance of standards, including compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate efficiently on the floor and behind the scenes; develop and maintain relationships across the business, with customers and community partners.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to generate innovative and engaging marketing ideas.
  • Take ownership of stock management and execute visual merchandising guidelines, contributing toward and delivering store KPIs.
  • Educate your team as the product expert and knowledgeable trainer, and advise customers.
  • Foster a supportive, productive, and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
  • Support the store management team in all aspects of running the store, including opening/closing, cash-handling, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean, well-presented store.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through authentic service that leaves a lasting impression.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, including health and safety regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role; leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for our brands and brand lifestyles.
  • Self-starter and ambitious; motivated to achieve and exceed store targets.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
