As an Assistant Manager at Prezzo Italian you’ll be at the heart of the restaurant – working alongside your General Manager to deliver standout dining experiences and strong operational results.
You’ll play a key role in uniting and supporting your team, helping everyone build strong trusting relationships with both guests and team members. You’ll foster a warm, welcoming environment where people feel valued and connected.

- Support the General Manager in driving sales, marketing and community engagement and restaurant capacity through efficient table management while upholding service standards.
- Monitor and manage financial metrics to ensure forecasting, budgeting and performance target setting.
- Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene and audit standards, and top cleanliness, presentation and atmosphere to meet brand standards.
- Lead the restaurant in the General Manager’s absence.
- Develop future leaders through internal growth initiatives.
- Proactively solve operational challenges for smooth service.
Experience We Value
- 2‑3 years of experience as a manager in the hospitality industry.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and growing business.
- Expert at organisation, prioritising multi‑tasking and meeting tight deadlines with a proactive approach.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Commercial awareness.
- Previous experience in a similar role with good knowledge of health & safety, food safety and employer‑relations matters.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem‑solving skills, being able to prioritise and show initiative.
- Good organisational skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to promote mutual respect, teamwork and develop teams.
- Ability to embrace change, always maintaining a positive outlook.
