About the role

As an Assistant Land Buyer, you will be an integral part of the regional land team, gaining an understanding of the entire process of land acquisition and our requirements within your first few months. You will research towns and proactively identify suitable land opportunities from various sources. Alongside Land Buyers and Managers, you will visit target towns, meet with Landowners and Agents to explore site viability, and assist with site appraisals and valuations.

Excitingly, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the full process, building your knowledge and understanding of Land Acquisitions, from site progress through due diligence to contract exchange and legal completion.

You will also monitor your sites through design, planning, commercial, and construction stages.

About you

We are looking for a self-motivated, engaging, and confident professional eager to transfer their experience into land buying.

Property or estate agency sales experience is advantageous but not essential; we value tenacity, resilience, and relationship-building skills most.

The successful Assistant Land Buyer will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be personable, engaging, and comfortable meeting new people.

A full UK driving licence is required due to travel involved in this role.
