Assistant Head Chef – Laverstock Care Centre, Salisbury - £16.00 per hour

  • 80 Bedded Nursing, Dementia and Residential Care Home
  • Full time; 40hrs per week
  • Shifts include alternate weekends

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the efficient and economical operation of the catering department in line with policies and budgets.
  • To stand in for the Head Chef during annual leave and periods of absence from the kitchen.
  • Developing seasonal menus that reflect our residents\' preferences and dietary requirements, while also incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Ensuring that all food safety standards are met and maintained in the care home.
  • Collaborating with other departments to coordinate special events and dietary accommodations for residents as needed.
  • Coordinating and communicating with the residents and relatives to ensure the satisfaction and needs of everyone is met and exceeded through continual feedback.
