Job Description
- Monitor and manage outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.
- Communicate with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Support the Accounting & Finance department with monthly reporting tasks.
- Prepare and send reminder letters or statements as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth credit operations.
- Assist in setting up new client accounts and credit checks.
- Provide administrative support to the credit control function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Credit Controller should have:
- Previous experience in a credit control or accounting support role.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
- The ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
