CCG, one of Scotland’s largest privately-owned construction and manufacturing companies, and we have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our Buying Department.

SALARY: DOE
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm (Core flexible housrs available)
LOCATION: 1 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8NB
STATUS: Permanent

THE ROLE
  • Assist in sourcing construction materials & plant hire
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with suppliers and team members
  • Ability to analyse supplier quotes against specification while ensuring purchases stay within project budgets
  • Ability to analyse data and carry out reports
  • Liaise with contracts managers, site teams and the commercial department
  • Basic understanding of project management and construction timelines
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, supplier performance and quality of products
  • Strong knowledge of buying principles
REQUIREMENTS
