Overview

Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bristol, are seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor / Building Surveyor to join them due to continued growth. The Building Surveyor will be working on numerous commercial projects, with a large number in the educational sector. The role will be based from the Bristol office with travel to projects. APC support is available.

Position Details

• Job Type: Permanent
• Location: Bristol
• Job Title: Building Surveyor / Assistant Building Surveyor
• Salary: £30k – £45k (potentially more for a stronger candidate)
• Start date: ASAP
• Projects: Commercial mainly, with significant educational sector work
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (flexible)

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of commercial projects, with emphasis on the educational sector.
• Collaborate with project teams from the Bristol office and undertake site travel to projects.
• Support APC / chartership progress for candidates pursuing qualification.

Position Requirements

• Must be living within commuting distance of Bristol.
• BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent; pursuing/holding degree in Building Surveying or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience as a Building Surveyor (open to graduates with a couple years' post-graduation experience).
• Full driving licence.
• Looking for a long-term role with progression opportunities.
• Strong interest in pursuing chartership; full APC support is available.
