A leading hearing care provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support core Finance operations. This role involves managing financial records, assisting with period-end reporting, and contributing to workflow improvements. Candidates should be part-qualified accountants or experienced QBE professionals, with strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze financial data. Enjoy competitive benefits, including a hybrid working model and a Boots Discount Card.
At Boots Hearingcare, everything we do is about improving lives through better hearing. As part of the Sonova Group, we draw on global innovation and clinical expertise, while remaining grounded in the communities we serve through our partnership with Boots across the UK.
We’re entering an exciting phase of growth, new store formats, a more digital customer journey, and a stronger focus on insight-driven decision making. To support this, we are strengthening our Finance team and building more capability in data, controls and commercial understanding.
We’re now looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Accountant to support core Finance operations and play a key role in period-end reporting, reconciliations and workflow improvement.
This role sits at the heart of our Finance team. It is hands‑on, detail‑focused and critical for maintaining accuracy, control and efficiency in our financial processes.
You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager and wider team – supporting management accounts, reconciling financial data, ensuring timely reporting and contributing to stronger financial governance across the business.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and problem solving – and who wants to develop their experience in a supportive environment with scope for growth.
