We employ over 5,500 people, across our operational team (our firefighters), control (our call handlers who answer your 999 calls) and our non‑operational team (our teams who work behind the scenes to support our front‑line services, including HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Communications etc.).
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Asset Manager to join our Property and Technical Support Services team within the Corporate Services Directorate. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our asset and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) database, supporting the delivery of effective maintenance and facilities services across the London Fire Brigade estate.
You will lead on the management of asset data, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and legislative standards, and contribute to long‑term planning through lifecycle tracking and condition surveys. The successful candidate will collaborate across internal teams and external contractors to maintain structured, auditable asset records and support strategic decision‑making.
