Job responsibilities

To assess patients within 20 minutes ofarrival to ensure they are in the right place and its safe for them to wait tobe seen. To offer first aid such as analgesia, temporary dressing, sling etcwhilst they are waiting.

  • To be a shiftco-ordinator as required.
  • To maintain ownrecords in line with legal and departmental procedures.
  • To maintain a high standard of clinical work, which will also includeteaching, supervision and leadership of junior staff, assistants, and students.
  • To participate fully in the unit work rota which will include evening,weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
  • To take a role in Service development and promotion.
  • To participate in Team Meetings, Reflect and Learn and Teaching Sessions.
