Overview

We are looking for amazing people to join us in the Assembly Day Shift Team, initially working for 6 months within a project team to install some exciting new technology (with the potential to extend or become permanent).

Responsibilities

• Accurately weighing portions to be added to each dish
• Accurately adding and arranging dish components
• Replenishing the dish trays
• Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
• Maintaining food preparation records and logs
• Conducting quality checks to ensure that the Bigham standards are met
• Carrying out effective and accurate shift handovers
• Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area
• Work as an integral part of the team towards the completion of the daily plan

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and a strong quality focus
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to work chilled and frozen products
• A positive approach to work
• A desire to develop your skills and work as part of a team
• Experience of working in a food handling environment as a production operative would be beneficial however, isn’t essential as we will provide food safety and quality training for those who don’t have prior experience.
• This role will require you to be physically active and spend most of your shift on your feet.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday - 6am - 4pm (with flexibility necessary within the project to work until 6pm as required).
