Job description

Overview

Assembly Team Leader position in Slough with a global design & manufacturing company. Enjoy finishing work on a Friday at midday every week and the opportunity for job security within a well established company. Salary £38,500 - £45,000 per annum + Pension, Healthcare, Bonus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor a team of operators, ensuring output/production targets are achieved and measuring team performance.
• Ensure that all relevant Health & Safety requirements are adhered to within the workplace, including conducting risk assessments.
• Ensure the smooth running of the production schedule and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and support the lean manufacturing process within the company.

Qualifications

• HNC / HND Engineering related discipline or apprenticeship.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing people – 10+ assemblers, including KPIs, appraisals, upskilling, etc.
• Strong H&S experience – risk assessments, etc.

You will be required to undergo security clearance in this position.
