Assembly Operative

Location: Tewkesbury

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday Days!

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Position

Early finish Friday!

We’re working with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in Tewkesbury who are looking for an Assembly Operative to join their growing production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has some knowledge or experience operating semi operating machines and some experience measuring parts cut to length in a clean, well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical or electronic components according to technical drawings or instructions
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
  • Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
  • Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules
  • Package and label completed units
  • Report defects or equipment issues to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
