A leading staffing agency is seeking a General Assembler for a day shift based in Stone, Staffordshire. Assembler – General Assembler (Day Shift)

We are recruiting 1 vacancy for a General Assembler on day shift for our prestigious client based in Stone, Staffordshire.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and 7am to 1pm Friday.

Pay: £14 to £16 per hour depending on experience.

Assembler – Mould Maker / Assembler (Night Shift)

We are recruiting 1 vacancy for a Mould Maker / Assembler on night shift.

Shift: Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am.

Pay: Up to £19.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

General Assembler (Day Shift)

• Heavy assembly work with large engineering parts – automotive, aviation, rail, and marine.
• Use hand tools, air tools, and power tools.
• Read from drawings.
• Use measuring equipment – micrometers and verniers – to tight tolerances.
• Operate overhead crane to move large engineered parts.

Mould Maker / Assembler (Night Shift)

• Heavy work – making moulds / castings.
• Use sand and ramming to create shapes – physical work.
• Knocking off; manual lifting work.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience

• Factory, manufacturing or engineering work experience (preferred – automotive, aviation, marine).
• Machine operating / assembly experience.
• Experience working with large engineered parts (an advantage).
• Overhead crane experience.
• Quality inspection work experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and production industry.

Work Hours

General Assembler: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm; Friday 7am – 1pm.

Mould Maker / Assembler: Monday to Thursday 6pm – 6am.
