Position: Aspiring Psychologist - Learning Support Assistant

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with educators and psychologists to develop individualized learning plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide academic, emotional, and behavioural support to students both in and out of the classroom.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote student success and well-being.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Knowledge of developmental psychology, learning theories, and behavioural interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support the holistic development of students.
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
