Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Cragmill Quarry, Northumberland

Reporting To: Quarry Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Supervisor based at our Cragmill Quarry in Northumberland. In the role, you will be responsible for supporting the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Plant. You will support managing production, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning and coordination with other departments. Awareness of the time critical nature of the process and downstream activities is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Safety will comprise a key element of the role; you may be required to conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and to demonstrate leadership in safety.
  • Administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control.
  • Plan and organise work in a time efficient fashion.
  • Background in the asphalt industry with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
