Overview

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant with Autism experience looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting for two primary schools in Handforth, Cheshire that are looking to appoint new one-to-one SEND Teaching Assistants with behaviour, ASD verbal and non-verbal experience to join their team. The positions are long term with a view to becoming permanent for the right person. These roles are full time.

Responsibilities
  • As a 1-2-1 SEND Teaching Assistant you will work alongside the class teacher and other TAs, supporting students with everyday school life.
  • There will be times when you support children on a 1-2-1 and small group basis independently.
  • You will be a source of support for students and ensure they are motivated, happy and engaged.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in SEND, with autism (ASD) and behaviour management, including verbal and non-verbal students.
  • Essential: DBS on update service, or willingness to pay for a new one to be processed.
