Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with Autism (ASD)? We are looking for a skilled ASD specialist to join a friendly, inclusive school in Rochdale.


The Role


  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ASD

  • Assist with structured routines and visual supports

  • Promote communication, emotional regulation and independence

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals

  • Create a calm, nurturing environment that supports sensory needs


What We're Looking For


  • Strong experience supporting children with Autism

  • A patient, empathetic and consistent approach

  • Ability to use ASD‑specific strategies and interventions

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Availability to start ASAP or January
