Job Title: ASC Teaching Assistant

Hours:8:45am to 3:15pm
Days: (full time and part time) Monday to Friday – this may lead to a permanent position with the school
£90 to £99 Per Day dependent on experience
Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with profound learning difficulties. The school provides for secondary age pupils aged who have special educational needs from a variety of conditions, most of which have autism and profound learning difficulties. Staff will need to have the ability to foster strong relationships with the children and to support them with their learning and development.
The school caters specifically for students with severe learning difficulties of all ages who are functioning significantly below age-related expectations and would struggle in mainstream settings. Many pupils have profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), with a large proportion being autistic, representing a wide range of cognitive and physical abilities and needs
