Overview

As an Asbestos Technical Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of asbestos surveyors and analysts, ensuring all projects meet the highest safety and compliance standards. Your leadership will directly contribute to achieving sales targets and strengthening client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and manage technical site staff.
  • Oversee projects, including surveys and asbestos removal works.
  • Ensure all operations comply with ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct staff training, competency audits, and performance appraisals.
  • Perform ad hoc surveying and analytical tasks when required.
  • Investigate complaints and manage site operations.
Requirements
  • BOHS qualifications (P402, P403, P404, P405, W505 or CCP).
  • At least 5 years of experience in asbestos-related site works.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client liaison abilities.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations regarding asbestos.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and a full UK driving licence.
