• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out asbestos 4-stage clearances and air testing.
• Conducting Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys.
• Supervising contractors on site per Health and Safety procedures.
• Collating and writing accurate, comprehensive reports.
• Maintaining good relationships with clients.

Job description

Our successful client currently has an opportunity for an experienced and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their team based in and around the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will be experienced in carrying out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties on a range of site and contract types. Applications from London, Basildon, Romford, Maidstone, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Holding the P402/P403/P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH qualification.
• Experience in surveying, air‑monitoring/air‑testing within the asbestos industry.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fully conversant with asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Role

• Carrying out asbestos 4‑stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re‑occupation and personal air testing.
• Management & Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising contractors on site ensuring they carry out the work in accordance with asbestos Health and Safety procedures.
• Collating and writing accurate, comprehensive reports.
• Building and maintaining a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
