Responsibilities

• Conduct management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.

• Conduct re-inspection surveys post-work completion.
• Document site information via TEAMS/TRACKER systems.

Job description

We are working closely with a company that specialises in Asbestos Surveying services. You will be working across Retail, Leisure, Healthcare and Domestic sites, providing asbestos management duties including undertaking asbestos management, refurbishment & demolition surveys, ACM sampling, and re-inspection surveys, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. This role would suit a candidate who is looking to come away from working in the London area and is wanting to focus on longstanding contracts across the East Anglia region. In return, the client can offer an above market salary and excellent overtime and travel time rates.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Swaffham, King’s Lynn, Wisbech, Downham Market, March, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Sudbury, Newmarket, Peterborough, Cambridge, Huntingdon.

Experience & Qualifications

• BOHS P402 (Mandatory)
• Will have experience working hands on as a surveyor for an established Asbestos Consultancy
• Excellent knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines
• Confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems
• Will have excellent communication / time management skills

The Role

• Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a mixed portfolio of sites
• Carrying out sampling of ACMs
• Ensuring that ACMs are bagged and labelled correctly prior to sending for analysis
• Conducting re-inspection surveys upon completion of work
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines
• Gathering information from site, using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed reports
