Responsibilities

• Travelling across commercial and domestic client sites to complete management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys.
• Conducting re-inspection surveys.
• Safely collecting samples from site for analysis.
• Producing bespoke technical survey reports for clients.

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Newport, South Wales

Salary/Benefits: £25,000 - £42,000 + Training & Benefits (overtime, pension, company vehicle)

We are seeking a motivated Asbestos Surveyor in South Wales, ideally with good access to the M4. The company is UKAS accredited and has a strong presence around the region and into the South West of England. You will be conducting the full range of asbestos surveys on domestic and commercial premises, ensuring high levels of customer service. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a well-established outfit
• Working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
• Qualified with the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using IT software
• Good client‑facing skills and experience

The Role

• Travelling across commercial and domestic client sites to complete management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Conducting re‑inspection surveys
• Safely collecting samples from site for analysis
• Producing bespoke technical survey reports for clients
• Attending site meetings with clients to establish new contracts
• Delivering samples to the laboratory
• Travelling across a range of client sites
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
