Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Enfield, Greater London

Our client is recruiting in the South East of England, for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor who can integrate well into their established team. The company is a privately‑owned outfit with a family feel and offers a good work/life balance. Applicants must hold industry‑relevant qualifications and proven on-site experience, undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys. Locations of work will include sites around the M25 and into the home counties. The company offers excellent further training, including additional modules. You will be travelling across: Enfield, Epping, Cheshunt, Ilford, Barking, Romford, Hornchurch, Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, Potters Bar, Barnet, Welwyn Garden City, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Chesham, Luton, Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City, Leighton Buzzard, Southall Slough, Braintree, Basildon, Wickford, Grays, Tilbury.

Experience / Qualifications

• Must hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Good client facing skills and experience
• Able to travel in line with company requirements
• IT proficient

The Role

• Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Working across a range of domestic, commercial and local authority sites
• Collecting samples from site for analysis
• Delivering samples to the laboratory
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Liaising with clients for site access
• Producing detailed survey reports and schematic drawings
• Adhering to set personal targets
